Piano Camp Eligibility Requirements
While the RCA Piano Camp is being designed to accommodate a range of experience levels, it is not intended for complete beginners.
To experience the offerings in this camp fully, participants are encouraged to have:
- At least one year of private lesson experience…OR
- All of the following:
- A proficient knowledge of the piano’s note names
- A proficient knowledge of finger numbers
- Ability to play a song from a piano book using finger numbers, or note letters, or notes on the staff
- Ability to practice a level-appropriate piece of music without adult supervision for 15 minutes
- Authentic enthusiasm for playing the piano! (Rather than parent-pressured learning) 🙂
Note: Walk-in registrations will not be accepted due to the nature of this camp
